Jeremy Crook is the owner of Botanical Zen, a horticulturist-led landscape design, consulting and installation company based in Ogden, Utah. He holds a B.S. in Horticulture from Utah State University and completed doctoral coursework in Plant and Environmental Science at Clemson University. Before launching his own business, Jeremy spent his career as a professional grower and horticulture leader, serving as Head Grower for Syngenta Flowers and Pacific Plug & Liner, Director of Growing at Olson’s Greenhouse, and Brand Manager at Dummen Orange. His research has been published in the Journal of the American Pomological Society, and he was named Undergraduate Researcher of the Year. That science-based background shapes how he approaches every landscape: choosing the right plants, building healthy soil, and designing for Northern Utah’s climate. Jeremy enjoys partnering with builders to deliver landscapes that look great and keep thriving for homeowners.
